Years ago the studio was Dawne's sales and work space which became a retail shop only when she outgrew it and built her Dream and Create Workshop nearby. The studio holds the collections of work created by Dawne and four local artisans, all of who receive 100% of the value of their sales. It's a winning combination to be able to offer a variety of goods to our customers that are made by a variety of local artisans who don't have brick and mortar shops of their own.
Wiltse Creek Studio
Dawne Fiegen is a self taught artist, crafter and owner of Wiltse Creek Studio.
After spending several years learning the art of chair caning in Toronto, she moved back to the area and finally settled into one of the first homes built in the Outlet, at Charleston Lake north of Lansdowne, Ontario.
Working out of her home in the winter and the studio and workshop in the summer, she has the most fun making items one at a time using found, gifted and upcycled items to create home and garden decor that suit a rustic and casual lifestyle.
Lime Shack Designs
As a relatively new metalsmith, Deb's inspiration often comes from the techniques she is currently learning. She also tries to use recycled or upcycled silver in an attempt to incorporate a feeling of history in each piece. The result has been an eclectic collection of jewellery that tells the story of her artistic journey.
Angie Parkins is an "upcyclist". Having discovered the pleasure of upcycling, (taking something old and used and making it into something new and hopefully better). Her Tread Lightly fabric creations can by discovered at the many craft shows she attends during the year.
Angie is a published paper crafter who has contributed many original designs to magazines in the U.K. and her love of paper crafts shines in the products she carries here at the studio.
