Whether you are looking to find out if there is an artist lurking inside you, or you just want to have a bit of fun with a paint brush, Dawne offers private and open painting classes for adults, kids, families and friend who share a bubble.
Covid 19 has changed the way we paint, but has not dampened our enthusiasm for creativity. This spring, Dawne packed away her harvest table which had held so many memories and created individual and double cubbies so that everyone could paint in a safe, but still fun environment.
Painting classes will continue on the porch at her home, located across the yard from the shop and will be offered until the weather gets too cold - about Thanksgiving.
Plans are in the works on how to proceed with classes after that. Stay tuned and feel free to email about availability for painting.
Yes! We do birthday painting parties here on the porch from spring to fall.
Parties at your location are harder, but not impossible and Dawne is happy to chat about what is possible to make your event a happy one.
Private classes are available year round, in the summer, on the porch and in the winter in the kitchen at the house.
Dawne offers small or private painting sessions on canvas and can often assist with bringing your ideas to life other small artsy/crafty things you may wish to paint on without having to buy a ton of supplies that you may never use again!
We are just finishing up our summer series and will be offering painting classes again starting in September.....stay tuned!
No experience needed and all supplies are included for all of our adult and kids painting classes. We use high quality, student grade artist acrylic paint that does not come out of clothing, so please dress down. Aprons are available.
Our classes are private events and during this period of Covid, Dawne will be wearing a mask during class and washes frequently and between assisting painters, who are socially distanced, or protected by barriers.
Our classes are instructed step by step and combine the joy of painting mixed in with a little bit of teaching and offered in small groups so that everyone has some individual time for help.
