Finding the artist inside you
Whether you are looking to find out if there is an artist lurking inside you, or you just want to have a bit of fun with a paint brush, Dawne offers painting classes for adults and kids, families and friends.
Wiltse Creek Studio is located just minutes from Charleston Lake Provincial Park in the 1000 Islands region and ideally located for a full days adventure in the summer. Come paint in the morning before heading off for a picnic and swim. You can leave your canvas here until you are done playing if need be.

I always suggest doing a google search and starting an online folder of the ones you love. It can tell a lot about the pattern/style/colours you are drawn to. Once you find what you love, I can help

Patterns take 5 - 12 hours to complete depending on the pattern and speed of the painter and are done over 1 - 2 days (sessions). Choose a size that works for you.

The price for this class includes individual time with Dawne to plan out your project, vinyl lettering for greeting if desired, but not the cost of accessories like gazing balls or solar lights. Post will come sanded and primed in the length you desire. Please feel free to contact Dawne for more information.
$135.00 plus $12.00 per foot for cedar post. If you don't finish during class time you can come back by appointment when there isn't another class happening for no additional charge. This is a personal journey and you will know when you are finished.
Never painted? Don't be afraid!
Our classes are instructed step-by-step with room for individual expression and combine the joy of painting mixed in with a little bit of teaching. Classes are offered in small groups so that everyone has some individual time for help.
What to wear!
We use high quality, student grade artist acrylic paint or exterior acrylic paint. It does NOT come out of clothing, so please dress down. Aprons are available upon request.
Where do I go?
In the summer, classes are held on the porch at Dawne's house next to the studio - come on up.
When it's too cold for for the porch we paint in the kitchen - enter the porch without knocking to reach the front door.
