Located in the middle of a summer tourism destination, the store emerges from winter hibernation as soon as people are out and about, and closes on Christmas Eve for the year. We keep regular hours from the May long weekend to the Thanksgiving weekend and are open year round for chair caning, painting classes and private shopping appointments, though, in the dead of winter, if you are shopping, you will need to bundle up as there is no heat on.
We are being super flexible with our hours and services during the "New Normal" that Covid has created. Dawne lives just across the yard, so it's never an inconvenience to ask for an appointment for private shopping.
During the summer, watch for our OPEN flag flying at the driveway ( unless it's 3 in the morning and I have forgotten to take it down) - the flag flying means that I am watching for your arrival as best I can since I am not always in the store. If the flag is not out, and it looks like there are signs of life, stop in and I'll be happy to serve you if I am able to.
